"Aletheia" represents her namesake, the Greek goddess symbolizing truth, disclosure, and unconcealment. Everyone has to face their own true self, even if it’s difficult to open up to such intimate vulnerabilities. Sometimes the face we put on for others is radically different than what we actually feel inside.
Still, there’s a quiet strength in one’s willingness to confront their own demons and fears. All of us are fighting individual battles with the darker corners of our minds. We have the power to connect over these shared struggles instead of further isolating ourselves. These were the thoughts that drove this painting. I hope this painting speaks to you in a unique way.

We had Eden in the palm of our hands, yet blindly burned it into ashes and dust. Spurred by profit, greed and pride. But nothing, NO. THING. built upon lies will last forever.
My only comfort was the Earth’s magnificence, even in her destruction. Utterly torn by chaos and drowning in the flames ... The world was on fire for the very last time. And there was nothing we could do, but watch.

The inspiration for this painting comes from a place of raw vulnerability. ‘Discord’ was born out of my own experience. It’s a reflection of the inner conflict that oftentimes consumes us — our thoughts, our relationships, our very being — as well as the outer turmoil that traps the world in its unforgiving grip.
But this painting is also rooted in a strong desire for clarity and transcendence — beyond the chaos of the here and now. Everyone faces their inner truth in a different way. Vulnerability manifests in many forms. But the experience is universal, in the sense that all of us must learn to face life’s highs and lows. The intention is to speak to the viewer on a personal level. One that is meaningful and intimate and authentic.
