The concept of entropy as it manifests in the modern generation: the cyclic nature of human life, death and (self-)destruction; a yearning for redemption and liberation that seems to have plagued us since time-immemorial; the idea that opposing ends of a spectrum will ultimately turn in on themselves if pushed far enough in both directions.
What fascinates me most is the almost blind desperation fueling certain elements of our trajectory (as humankind) — it seems inevitable that our narrative has always been a recurrent one, unique only in the details. It is along this delicate convergence between self-awareness vs. self-sabotage that I set my starting point for this piece, and the main sentiment driving its materiality, form, structure and aesthetic.
